What I Like Most About This Lotion

I like that the Honest Co. Dreamy Lavender Lotion includes natural and organic ingredients. Another great thing is it doesn’t have silicones, parabens, and many chemicals that may be harmful to our babies.

My little one did finish both bottles of Lavender Shampoo/Body Wash and Face/Body Lotion. Having said that, I was pretty satisfied with the results on his skin.

I would usually bathe my baby with Honest Lavender Shampoo/Body Wash first then moisturize his skin from head to toe with the Dreamy Lavender Face and Body Lotion.

The lavender scent did do a great job to help calm and relax my baby no matter what time of the day or night I gave him a bath. Especially if he was a little fussy before his bath.

He would be more restful and go to sleep easily after.

When I purchased the lotion it came as a 2 piece set with The Honest Co. Dreamy Lavender Shampoo + Body Wash. When I searched for the lotion online it seemed to only be sold as a set with the shampoo/body wash.

So I think this may be the only way the product is sold. If you would like to purchase the set you can find it here on Amazon.

Things I Don’t Love About This Lotion

Even though the lotion has many natural and organic ingredients, other ingredients have limited scientific data and no data at all relating to how safe they are.

There are some ingredients in this lotion that are not natural, but on the other hand, considered a very low safety concern.

You can go to EWG’s Skin Deep database to find out more information about each ingredient.

I usually used the lotion in combination with shea butter, jojoba oil, or olive oil. The reason is that I personally feel the Honest Co. Dreamy Lavender Lotion didn’t moisturize my baby’s skin enough.

He has a few eczema-like dry patches on different parts of his body so I think his skin really benefits from extra moisture.

But, along with any lotion my kids and I use in general, I like to use shea butter or oil. I feel this adds extra and longer-lasting moisture.

My Overall Thoughts About This Product

Overall I think The Honest Co. Ultra Calming Dreamy Lavender Lotion might be a safer product compared to many others that are sold in stores.

The Dreamy Lavender Lotion did an excellent job of calming and putting my baby to sleep.

It’s great that this product has natural ingredients, but I wish it was clear how safe ALL the ingredients are.

But, finding products with a clear list of completely natural ingredients is not always easy depending on where you shop.

Have you used the Honest Co. Face + Body Dreamy Lavender Lotion on your baby? Share how you and your little one felt about it!
