One thing you will notice about my smoothie recipes is that I make pretty large servings. When I make smoothies I usually like to make enough for my whole family and a large serving for myself.
Many times I try to make sure we get at least the daily recommended servings of fruit (and veggies when I make green smoothies) in one drink.

This recipe will serve about three to five people. So if you don’t want to make a lot then you can cut the recipe in half or adjust it according to your specific needs.
I used mandarins, but you can use oranges or orange juice if you like. Mandarins were the only fruit I had at the time but the others will work fine as well.
I also want to point out that I use a Vitamix, which is a high speed blender. I highly recommend this blender if you plan to make smoothies often.
Years ago when I first started making smoothies I used a standard household blender. Shortly after I began making smoothies consistently on a daily basis, my blender stopped working.
I starting researching for the best blender and specifically for a good quality blender with professional results. That’s when I learned about the Vitamix blender. It does an incredible job at making smoothies smooth.

Easy Healthy Strawberry, Banana, Orange Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 4 cups strawberries
- 2 ripe bananas
- 3 mandarins
Instructions
- Place ingredients in blender and blend for 30 to 60 seconds or until drink reaches a smooth consistency. Enjoy!
